Harper's Animal Clinic in Americus, GA is a Christian based full service small animal hospital. We offer a wide range of quality veterinary services for all stages of life. Our services and facility are here to assist you in routine preventive care, detection and treatment of diseases, and medical and surgical care as necessary.

Dr. Samuel G. Harper grew up in Americus, Georgia where he graduated from Southland Academy. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Georgia Southwestern College in 1979. He received his DVM degree from the University of Georgia in 1983 and returned to his hometown of Americus to practice veterinary medicine. After five and a half years, Dr. Harper, his wife, and their three children left for missionary service with the International Mission Board from 1989-1999, serving one year in Costa Rica and the remaining time in Peru. On May 15, 2001 he re-opened his practice, Harper's Animal Clinic, Inc., where he is currently practicing small animal medicine and surgery. He and his wife have five children and two grandchildren.
